The orwp should not be mandatory. It is very expensive and does not give good coverage. All that was mentioned In the video , people will have to pay 30% above and beyond the coverages. $100 for massage. Insurance covers $70 and the realtor pays an additional $30 out of their pockets.

I find it quite peculiar that the mandatory program got approved in a "special" meeting where all members were "represented." Isn't it odd that such a significant decision, affecting all of us, was passed in just one or two months? Such a quick decision!!! BTW, How do I opt-out?

Why is a mandatory insurance plan being implemented at a significant cost to the membership without a vote? I am strongly opposed to this as I already have insurance and this plan provides next to no coverage at a significant cost increase to my membership. I see nothing about dependents, what about my wife and daughter? Also why does this plan discriminate against the elderly? So many issues that I think you really should reconsider forcing this on the membership without membership approval. Get a group rate and let people opt in as needed. Please pass my comments along to whoever voted to make this happen.

Tragic story and I'm sorry Vicki and her family had to go through so much. What does give OREA the right to make health and wellness plan MANDATORY for all members of the association? Why force self-employed members into a mandatory program that is not related to the real estate industry? Why use coercion and threaten small business owners and owners of corporations, with taking the trade tools away from them if they don't have the health plan (i.e. access to MLS, Webforms, etc)? The ORWP is outside of OREA's purview and should not be a mandatory.

It's a bad deal, kind of rip off. Need to be investigated if there were vested interests.

Thank you so much! This has been explained to me by several people, but it seeing this demonstration makes it much clearer, and I love the way the chairperson demonstrates how to make every step clear to the members of the group. That's just good leadership. What a relief to see this great video.
